By using the Jimmy’s Custom Speed Shop website, requesting a quote, approving work, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Products and Services
We provide custom and rebuilt heavy-duty transmissions, clutch services, drivetrain components, racing products, oils, and related services. Website descriptions are general. Your approved quote, invoice, or order confirmation controls the specifications, price, and scope of your transaction.
Quotes and Additional Work
Quotes are based on the information available at the time. Prices may change if inspection reveals hidden damage, missing parts, incorrect identification, contamination, or additional work.
We will request your approval before performing material work outside the original scope.
Customer Information
You are responsible for providing accurate information about your truck, engine, transmission, clutch, gearing, tire size, vehicle weight, intended use, and modifications.
Recommendations and performance estimates depend on this information.
Payment and Cancellations
Payment is due according to the product page, quote, or invoice. Deposits may become nonrefundable after parts are ordered or custom work begins.
Custom-built, machined, special-order, installed, used, or opened products may be nonreturnable. Cancellation charges or restocking fees may apply when disclosed and permitted by law.
Customer Components and Cores
You must own or have permission to send any transmission, clutch, core, or other component to us.
Customer components must be drained, cleaned, properly packaged, and accurately identified. Core credits are subject to inspection and may be reduced if a core is incomplete, damaged, incorrect, contaminated, or modified.
Build Times and Shipping
Build and delivery dates are estimates unless guaranteed in writing. Parts availability, machining, inspection findings, customer approvals, freight, and customs may affect the schedule.
Our Shipping Policy applies to parcel, freight, core-return, and international shipments. Canadian customers are responsible for applicable duties, taxes, and brokerage fees unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Installation and Operation
Products must be installed, adjusted, lubricated, operated, and maintained by qualified persons.
Stop using a vehicle or component if you notice abnormal noise, vibration, heat, leakage, shifting problems, or visible damage. Continued operation may cause additional damage and affect warranty coverage.
Racing and High-Load Use
Racing, sled pulling, dyno operation, modified-truck use, and other high-load activities involve risks of component failure, vehicle damage, serious injury, and death.
We do not guarantee elapsed time, speed, traction, finish-line RPM, operating temperature, race results, class legality, or component life unless a specific written guarantee states otherwise.
Warranty
Products and services are covered only by the written warranty, if any, shown on the product page, quote, invoice, or warranty document.
Contact us before disassembling, repairing, or returning a suspected warranty item. A return authorization does not automatically confirm warranty coverage or a refund.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Jimmy’s Custom Speed Shop will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, event expenses, towing, travel, lodging, or loss of vehicle use.
Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the product or service involved. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain in effect.
